"I am not young enough to know everything." -Oscar Wilde

My first day of school.
EVERYONE has been asking me.

Let me just begin with the fact that it is extremely wierd-beyond-wierd going to a predominantly white school in Georgia, as opposed to a predominantly skin-colour-other-than-white school in Maryland.

There is a W O R L D of a difference.

At Springbrook, you step on a guy's shoes, and they yell, "Aye, dawg, chill out young!"
At Milton, you step on a guy's shoes and they're like, "Like, dude, watch where you're goin', man!"

Plus, school starts at "Eight twenny-fahv" and not "Eight twenty-five."
Imagine that.

Going to this school, you realize why places like Hollister, American Eagle, and Abercrombie & Fitch haven't gone out of business. These girls are all you need to keep their sales up.

All the people are exactly the same. There's absolutely no diversity (that I can see) in style, ideas, and values.

And the black population is so small that I belive I met ALL of them in the first day.

Don't get me wrong, there are some really nice people out there, and the staff is absolutely exceptional.
Plus, Dr. Fair is so cool. My AP Lit teacher. And my physics teacher is Russian. So he pronounces "homework" as "homo-werrrk" the "homo" like when people say "no homo" and he really rolls those "R's."

At least someone in this world does justice to those "R's." He makes up for the whole British population that doesn't pronounce their "R's."

I had a wierd encounter with an Iranian kid who though t I spoke persian or whatever. Ectremely awkwardly wierd moment. I apologized to him that I wasn't persian.

Who apologizes for their nationality?

Feel free to rant/comment about how cool I am. Or how awesome I am.

aleena is amazing. [ 5:13 PM ]
